OK, my daughter Sam is learning about dinosaurs in school. So I had a nice talk with her about MY theory of dinosaurs NOT REALLY being extinct...
Here is what I think. If you look at dinosaurs and compare them to modern day animals, you can see SOME similar features. Could the dinosaur's DNA or cells been somehow cryogenically stored during the ice age...a natural storage of course, and then evolved somehow into modern day animals? Or did just "some" of the helpful features of dinosaurs repeat themselves in modern day animals because they worked? OR did God think dinosaurs were too bulky of a design and redo them, keeping the good parts?
Let's give it a try, shall we? (Nevermind my spelling!)
Bronotsaurus (or brachiasaurus) ..... Giraffe.
Triceretops......Rhinosaurus
Stegasaurus......Armadillo
See where I'm going here?
You try, it's FUN!
If you can't do it, do it backwards and start with a modern day animal....
Let me know what you come up with.
That's what I think...anyway.

Ghosts and stuff that goes bump.
I believe in ghosts....sometimes. I mean, I have proof...Lots of it. For examply my daughter Sam gave me proof. When she was 2, that's how I know she didn't make it up. See one day. I was playing with her in her room and out of the corner of my eye I see these 2 people in the doorway. Now, I have VERY good peripheral vision, and it looked like my grandparents (both deceased) who used to travel around the world and always took their picture in the doorway on their way to the airport (never figured out why they did that). Now, I was WAY TOO SCARED TO LOOK FULLY...and I thought I would be a braver person, nope....so I continued to play. Then I got up the courage to take another peripheral peek....and they were gone. And JUST as all the hair on my body started to settle back into place....my daughter Sam says "Mommy, did you see that?" and I'm like 'what honey?"....and she says...in a low, quiet, scary child voice "The people in the doorway".....well I almost threw up I was so scared. So I have proof. But every once in a while, my faith in the afterlife gets broadsided by my cinical scientist side (LOLOLOL) and I start to question it. I hope it IS true. I hope there ARE ghosts.....because we all need that proof of faith nowadays.
That's what I think....anyway.

On celebrity deaths and the media and whatever else.
Is it just me? Or when a celebrity you really like dies, you take it to heart like you knew them personally. I LOVED Steve Irwin. Watched him from day 1. I was devastated to learn he had died...and by what? A STINGRAY! GEEZ.
Heath Ledger...another tragic untimely, not-necessary (he didn't HAVE to die) death. I can not believe he is dead! I feel so for his family, and that INCLUDES Michelle Williams, who must somehow blame herself. The media certainly didn't know whether to help her by feeling for her, or hurt her even more by BLAMING her, basically. I just can't seem to get it out of my mind sometimes. My husband thinks I'm weird!
And speaking of the media....since when has the news (and I mean like the REAL NEWS) become a bunch of rags sheets??? They no longer inform the public, they dictate things and they twist things, and they sensationalize things. THAT is NOT what the news is supposed to be about. How many times have you heard someone was murdered or beaten and the suspect is in custody and the media treats them as guilty until proven innocent...but when they ARE innocent? The media DOES NOT COVER IT!!!!! It amazes me. They cover it while the can blast someone's life into hell but they never vindicate the innocent. They are terrible. NO WONDER we are all angry most of the time, and stressed. You rarely hear ANYTHING good on the news. And let's make sure we bleed every last drop for money we can out of Heath Ledger's death. In fact, I believe it's the media's fault that I'm still not over it! I want to hear what's going on in the world and form my OWN opinion....not be handed it by the media. GO BACK TO BEING UNBIASED.
